Budgeting & Bidding

How much should I actually spend per day?

There's no universal right answer, but a reasonable starting point for a single local campaign is $15–$30 per day. That's usually enough for Meta's algorithm to gather the data it needs to start optimizing within about a week, without risking a large amount before you know if the offer and targeting are working.

The number that actually matters more than daily spend is cost per lead. If you're spending $20/day and getting one lead every two days, that's $40 per lead — compare that to what a booked job is worth to decide if it's profitable. A $40 lead that converts to a $600 job is a very different story to a $40 lead in a business where the average job is $80.

Raise your budget once a campcampaign has been running for at least 4–7 days with a steady cost per lead — jumping the budget too early, before Meta has learned who responds, tends to reset that learning and temporarily makes results worse, not better.
