Ad Fundamentals
A Facebook Page is your business's public presence — where customers see reviews, photos, and posts. An ad account is a separate billing and permissions container that actually runs ads; it has no public-facing content of its own. A Business Manager (now often called Business Portfolio) is the umbrella that holds both, plus your Instagram account, and controls who has access to what.
This separation trips people up because you can have a perfectly good Page with zero ad accounts attached, or an ad account that isn't yet linked to any Page. When Donded's Meta connection fails with "no ad account found" or "no Page found," it usually means one of these three pieces isn't properly linked to the others inside your Business Manager.
You generally only need to set this up once. Once your Page, ad account, and Business Manager are correctly linked, Donded's connect flow finds all three automatically and you won't think about the distinction again.
