Creative & Copywriting
Video tends to earn more attention in the Facebook and Instagram feed simply because it moves and a static photo doesn't — but attention isn't the same as conversion, and for trade services, a strong before/after photo pair often converts just as well as a video, for a fraction of the production effort.
Where video genuinely earns its place: process work that's inherently more convincing in motion, like a drain camera inspection, a demolition, or time-lapse of a full renovation. If the work itself tells a visual story over time, a 15–30 second clip captures that better than any single photo could.
A phone-shot video with clear audio (or none, since most people watch muted anyway — captions matter more than sound) is entirely sufficient. Production polish matters far less than showing something real and specific to your own work.
