Creative & Copywriting
Effective ad copy for a local service business usually follows a simple shape: name the problem the customer has, briefly establish why you're the one to fix it, and give one clear, low-friction next step. "Blocked drain? Same-day service across [suburb]. Message us for a free quote" does more work than a paragraph describing your company history.
Specificity beats vagueness. "Fully insured, 15 years experience, same-day quotes" tells a reader something concrete they can evaluate; "quality service you can trust" tells them nothing a competitor couldn't also claim. If you have a genuine differentiator — same-day availability, a guarantee, a specific certification — lead with it.
Keep the actual call to action singular and clear: one thing you want the reader to do (message you, call, fill in the form), not three competing options. Donded's AI-generated copy suggestions follow this same problem/proof/action structure by default, and the "Generate variations" feature can give you 2–3 alternate framings to test against each other.
